Head out from the Yurt for a Devon countryside walk.
All these walks start from the yurt.
Either from where your car is parked.
Or through the little gate at the very back behind the yurt (follow the stream and you’ll find it!)
Theres a range of short & long walks that I’ve created google maps for below.
Pub Walks
There’s something so satisfying about going to a pub for refreshment during a walk! The three Pub’s within walking distance are:
Drewe Arms, Broadhembury (2 miles)
Wyndham Arms, Kentisbeare (1.8 miles)
Keepers Cottage Inn, Kentisbeare (1.4 miles)
Set at the foothills of the Blackdown Hills Area of Natural Beauty (ANOB)
Our location is fab if you love walking in nature. Within 5-15mins drive there are so many places to go walking. Hembury Fort & Culmstock Beacons being two places I’d highly recommend.
How to make these google maps on your phone
– click the box on the top far right (e.g. as shown by pink arrow)
Rhododendrum Woods
2.2km from Weavers to the Car Park
Blue line along road.
– Drive takes 5mins.
– Walk is uphill (so with children takes a while 😉
Pink line shows the easiest walk in the woods. Flat, but can get muddy in certain parts.
Lot’s of other footpaths to explore that take you higher up into the woods 🙂
