Outdoor Living for All Seasons
Enjoying the outdoors is a highlight of glamping and so we’ve ensured there are covered seating areas that allow you to sit back and enjoy nature in cosy comfot regardless of the weather.
The main pathways are gravel as you move between the areas.
Garden Lounge + FirePit
We created this so that you can enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather! The Garden Lounge has a roof protecting you from the rain. There’s an integrated Firepit with smoke hood and flue which makes for really cosy evenings, even in winter. A BBQ grid fit’s over the firepit allowing for cooking outdoors. A range of hammocks and comfy chairs make this the perfect hangout spot. The view from here includes the stream, which is always beautiful and useful if you’re coming with children as you can sit back and watch them play.Pizza Oven
The wood fired pizza oven is under cover in the garden lounge. This recent addition has been a huge success.
Homemade pizzas are so fun to make, and they taste incredible!
Beyond pizza, you can cook up other yummy food (Baked camembert, Spatchcock chicken, Pittas, Roast vegetables, Sides of salmon, Fruit desserts).
Outdoor FirePit
When the weather is good and you fancy a rustic fire, you can sit round the the sleeper benches, roast marshmallows & get comfy wrapped in blankets. At night time this is a perfect spot for stargazing.
The ground is covered in wood chips which makes it a good spot for picnics during the day.
Yoga Pergola & Sun Deck
This spot is a little sun trap, making it a great place to soak up some vitamin D! Set alongside the tree lined stream, and tucked away from the main outdoor area it’s a gorgeous spot for yoga. Even more so since my sister painted a tree of life mural on the back of the kitchen. There are two yoga mats in the yurt for you (ask if you’d like additional ones).
River Cafe
This little spot is our favourite for morning coffee… so I named it the River Cafe!
Whilst a small stream (that can get deeper in winter) it’s official name is ‘The River Weaver’.
Children love this spot too, it has easy access to play in the stream whilst being close by to parents. The tree you can just see to the left is huge with large trunks forming a perfect opening that can be climbed into.
Flushing Toilet
Along the raised deck from the yurt you’ll find The Frog Bog !
Flushing toilet & cold water sink.
With a jungle floor & surrounded by bamboo, we rather love this toilet!
There’s toilet paper, a child’s toilet seat and a box with some sanitary items.
Shower
Through the stunning authentic Balinese Door at the back of the Kitchen you’ll find a hot water shower and sink.
